Approval Superusers
All administrative functions of Herzum Approval require you to be a user with the Jira Cloud System Administrators global permission.

Overview
The Approval Superusers section on the Global Configuration allows you to perform operations: (1) setup user having special approval privileges, and (2) setup the Super Users needed by the app to perform some task.

Super Approvers
Is it possible to make an user a Super Approver.Â
An approval superuser can approve or reject any approval via the approval buttons on the issue screen, via the Bulk Approval screen, via email, etc.
Follow the steps below in order to setup the Super Approvers:Â
Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators Global Permission
Select Apps from the settings
Scroll down to Herzum Approval Cloud → Global ConfigurationÂ
Scroll down to the Approval Superusers → Super Approvers
Search the user and add one or more to the selector
Click the Select button
Click Save to persist changes
A message notifies that the operation has been performed success
Approval Expression Superuser
An Approval Configuration can be built upon a user picker custom field, which is automatically populated by the app based on a clause. This feature requires to specify the user that will be used by the app to perform this automated task.
Follow the steps below in order to setup the Approval Expression Superuser:Â
Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators Global Permission
Select Apps from the settings
Scroll down to Herzum Approval Cloud → Global ConfigurationÂ
Scroll down to the Approval Superusers → Approval Expression Superuser
Search the user and add to the selector
Click the Select button
Click Save to persist changes
Approval Conditional Rule Superuser
Here you can select a Super User that the app will use to evaluate the Conditional rule when the option User used to evaluate the Conditional Rules is set to Super User.
Follow the steps below in order to setup the Conditional Rule Superuser:Â
Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators Global Permission
Select Apps from the settings
Scroll down to Herzum Approval Cloud → Global ConfigurationÂ
Scroll down to the Approval Superusers → Conditional Rule Superuser
Search the user and add to the selector
Click the Select button
Click Save to persist changes
Bypass Approvals Superuser
Here you can selected users have the ability to transition an issue to the next status, bypassing any configured approval mappings (Herzum Approval Validator)
Follow the steps below in order to setup the Bypass Approvals Superuser:Â
Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators Global Permission
Select Apps from the settings
Scroll down to Herzum Approval Cloud → Global ConfigurationÂ
Scroll down to the Approval Superusers → Bypass Approvals Superuser
Search the user and add to the selector
Click the Select button
Click Save to persist changes
