Overview

This tool will allow you to migrate from one cloud instance to another cloud instance without the need to lose all your Herzum Approval for Cloud configurations.

In the Migration Tool section, you will be able to access the Migration Tool.

Now this screen shows you two options "Server/ Data Center to Cloud" and Cloud to Cloud. You should select the Cloud to Cloud option to access the screen to perform the migration.

This screen shows two buttons:

• Import Data: this button will allow you to load the previously created JSON file.

• Export Data: This button allows you to create a JSON file with all the configurations that the application has in the instance you are currently using.

Once you have your JSON file ready through the Export Data option, you can use it in the instance where you want to configure Herzum Approval for Cloud. When you upload your file with the Import Data option, the migration process will start.

In the migration process the first thing it does is a data validation, it checks that the records such as users, projects, issue types, workflows among others are in the instance to continue with the process.

If you get error messages in the migration process, please review all errors and warnings that are presented, fix the errors in your file and instance and perform the migration again.

Once all this is correct and without errors, it continues with the process of importing the data into the Herzum Approval for Cloud configuration.

Once the process is completed, you will be shown a message that the migration was successful.
