View Approval Workflow


Before you can display the View Approval Flow link to show up on the Details section of the issue screen, an user having Jira System Administrators global permission must have enabled it on the Global Configuration screen.




Overview

The View Approval Workflow link allows you to display the Approval Workflow assigned to the current issue.

The View Approval Workflow link shows up on the Details section of the issue screen.


Review the the Approval Workflow assigned to the current issue

  1. Click the View Approval Workflow link showing up on the Details section of the issue screen in order to display the Approval Workflow assigned to the current issue
  2. Click on a Transition in order to display

    1. the Requested Approvals 
    2. the configured Advanced Settings including:
      1. Automatic workflow transition on approving, indicating if the automatic issue transitioning based on received approbations has been enabled

      2. Automatic workflow transition on rejecting, , indicating if the automatic issue transitioning based on received rejections has been enabled

      3. Automatic Request Approval notification, indicating if the automatic email notifications of approval requests,  when the issue moves in the selected source status, has been enabled

      4. Notify approvals via comment, indicating if the automatic notification and approbation via comments has been enabled

      5. Require Approval Comment, indicating if the approval comment is mandatory on approving, rejecting or abstaining

      6. Condition enabling/disabling the approvals, indicating if a condition is checked in order to enable/disable the approvals

      7. Transition on rejecting, indicating if a workflow transition is associated to rejections 

      8. Minimum Required approbations/rejections, indicating how many approbations and rejections are needed in order to enable  the associated workflow transition or the automatically transitioning the issue depending on Enable automatic workflow transition based upon conditional and unconditional minimum required approbations/rejections option
