super approver

Super Approver

An approval superuser can approve or reject any approval via the approval buttons on the issue screen, via the Bulk Approval screen, via email, etc.

Follow the steps below in order to setup the Super Approvers: 

  1. Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators Global Permission

  2. Select 

Add-ons from the Administration menu (cog icon: Image Removed)
  1. Apps from the settings

  2. Scroll down to Herzum Approval Cloud → Global Configuration 

  3. Scroll down to the Approval Superusers → Super Approvers

Approval Conditional Rule Superuser

Here you can select a Super User that the app will use to evaluate the Conditional rule when the option User used to evaluate the Conditional Rules is set to Super User.

Follow the steps below in order to setup the Conditional Rule Superuser

  1. Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators Global Permission

  2. Select Apps from the settings

  3. Scroll down to Herzum Approval Cloud → Global Configuration 

  4. Scroll down to the Approval Superusers 

→ Approval Expression
  1. → Conditional Rule Superuser

    Bypass Approvals Superuser

    Here you can selected users have the ability to transition an issue to the next status, bypassing any configured approval mappings (Herzum Approval Validator)

    Follow the steps below in order to setup the Bypass Approvals Superuser

    1. Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators Global Permission

    2. Select Apps from the settings

    3. Scroll down to Herzum Approval Cloud → Global Configuration 

    4. Scroll down to the Approval Superusers → Bypass Approvals Superuser

    5. Search the user and add to the selector

    6. Click the Select button

    7. Click Save to persist changes
