The Approval Super users option on the Global Configuration screen allows you to enable the selected users to approve or reject instead of any approver.

An approval superuser can approve/reject instead of any approver via the approval buttons on the issue screen, via the Bulk Approval screen, via email and via comment (it requires that the option Notify approvals via comment (NAC) is enabled on the specific Approval Mapping.




Configuration options:

Superusers 

Follow the steps below in order to setup the Approval Super users: 

  1. Log in as a user with the Jira Administrators Global Permission

  2. Select Add-ons from the Administration menu (cog icon: ) at the top right of your screen

  3. Scroll down to Herzum Approval administration left tabs and choose the Global Configuration option

  4. Scroll down to the Approval Superusers
  5. Update the list of SuperUsers by 
    1. clicking the user picker icon
    2. selecting one/more users 
    3. clicking the Select button
  6. Click Save to maintain changes
