By default, a JIRA Project has an attachment size limit that is defined as per global instance configuration (https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/MgISCw) but it cannot be specialized for a project.

Herzum Attachment Manager add-on allows to configure a limit on the attachment size specialized by project  and, furthermore,  a limit on the number of files let be attached to the issues always specialized by project. 

To setup these limits, follow the steps illustrated below.

To create a new attachment:

  • choose a project from the drop down "Project Name

    NB: only projects without a configuration are showed

  • fill the fields "Max Attachment Size", with the desired max attachment size in bytes, and "Total Number of Attachments"

    If you set a negative number on the Max Attachment Size, the overall JIRA setting is assumed to be checked out.

    If you set a negative number on the Total Number of Attachments, no limit on the number of attachments is assumed to be checked out.
