By default, a JIRA Project has an attachment size limit that is defined as per global instance configuration (https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/MgISCw). By using the Herzum Attachment Manager add-on, you can define a limit on the size and on the number of files let be attached to the issues in a specific JIRA Project.

To setup these limits, follow the steps below.

Click on the cog icon, then "Add-ons"


Access the add-ons admin section

2Click on "Configure Attachments" in the left hand menu

Access the HAM configuration panel

3Click on "Add new attachment limit"

To create a new attachment:

  • choose a project from the drop down "Project Name

    NB: only projects without a configuration are showed

  • fill the fields "Max Attachment Size", with the desired max attachment size in bytes, and "Total Number of Attachments"

    If you defines -1 it means that there no limits

  • No labels
