Create a new partnership
By default, there are no partnerships created when you first install the Quick Linker plugin. Your first configuration option will be to create a new partnership.

3 | Click on the Test Connection button to run a Connection Diagnostic test and Save. The check is performed on the Destination URL only. Destination credentials are not checked. | Test Connection pop-up |

Update an existing partnership
To update an existing Partnership just click the icon under the Operations column. You are not allowed to update all Partnership Properties and some updates are allowed depending by the specific scenarios,
Partnership Name cannot be updated.
Source URL, Username and Password can be updated only from the Source JIRA instance.
Destination URL, Username and Password can be updated from both the Source and the Target JIRA instance.
Notice that, on changing the Partnership Properties, a consistence check will be performed on the local as on the remote JIRA instance. If Partnership Properties aren' validated, an alert advertises that changes cannot be pensisted.
Delete a partnership
To delete an existing Partnership just click the icon under the Operations column.
Notice that Partnership deletion is allowed in the following cases:
- always, if the Partnership is a Local Partnership
- always,if the current JIRA instance is the Source URL of a Remote Partnership
- if the current JIRA instance is the Target URL of a Remote Partnership and if the Partnership is disabled (e.g. Source URL no more existing, password changes, license expired etc).
On deleting a Remote Partnership, if the Partnership is enabled, data will be upgraded on the Target URL too.
If the Partnership is associated to existing Mapping and Quick Links the following alert is displayed:
On click , all associated mappings and quick links are deleted too.
