When a mapping has been configured, you are allowed, in addition to issue creation and linking, to link an existing issue.
The two example below illustrate issue linking the cases of mapping associated to a Local and to a Remote Partnership.
Linking an issue on the present JIRA instance
1 | Go to an issue belonging to the project selected as Source Project and having as Issue Type the Source Issue Type configured on the Mapping. | Issue view screen |
2 | The Herzum Quick actions panel shows the button, associated to the configured mapping, allowing to link an existing issue. | Herzum Quick actions panel |
3 | Click the Herzum Quick Action button to display the Herzum Quick Link screen. | Herzum Quick Link screen |
4 | The Select an existing issue select list allows to choose the issue to be linked. Click the arrow on the first select list and click on the issue or just type the issue key. The select list displays only the issues having same Project/Issue type of the Target Project/Issue Type set on the mapping. | |
5 | The Select an existing issue linked by Issue Links select list allows to choose the issue to be linked by filtering all issues already linked to the issue. Click the arrow on the first select list and click on the issue or just type the issue key. |
