Overview
Herzum Approval allows for texts custom localization through the Language Packs administration screen.
The Language Packs administration screen provides the capability to
review translations of almost everything related to the Herzum Approval items appearing to the users basing on the language selected in their app setting.
If
the language pack is not available for the language of the instance, the app uses the default texts (English language).
As a Jira System Administrator you are able to:
Create Approval Language Packs, allowing to translate almost every text into the Herzum Approval app.
Export an Approval Language Packs from templates
View
any Approval Language pack.
User experience:
An user will see translated texts appearing in Herzum Approval basing on the values set into the Language Pack associated to his language app setting.

Language Packs Administration
The language pack management screen displays all Herzum Approval Language
packs (
read-
only)

The Language Packs Administration screen allows to perform the following
action:
Create Custom Approval Language Packs:
from a Herzum language pack template or from scratch.
View the Herzum Approval Language Pack (Read-Only)
.
Delete any Custom Approval Language Pack.
Herzum Approval Language Pack (Read-only)
The app uses as Default the predefined language pack Herzum Approval Language Pack (Read-only).
The Herzum Approval Language Pack (Read-only) cannot be edited, but it can be viewed.
A specific language pack per language must be created in order to enable its usage by the app.
The Approval language pack templates
are properties files maintaining, for any language, the association between a key and a translated text.
Herzum Approval provides you with language pack templates for
Italian (Italy)
Spanish (Spain)
German (Germany)
The language pack templates can be used to create a language pack starting from predefined translations for a language:
Actions
Create a new language pack template
Follow the instructions below in order to create a new language pack template.
Click Create Language Pack on the top of the Language Packs Administration screen
You can translate the labels of each section of Herzum Approval and asociated the new language pack with a key of the language of your traduction
Edit a language pack template
In the same way, you can modify any language pack.
You cannot modify the language key or the template name.
Delete a language pack template
On deleting a language pack template, the applied changes are immediately made consistent to the app configuration. This change is irreversible.
