Installing Herzum Approval add-on
Take care to install the add-on version compatible with your JIRA installation.
1 | Choose the cog icon at top right of the screen, then choose Add-ons and click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page. Administration → Add-ons → Find new add-ons | Add-ons navigation item within JIRA |

Upgrading Notes
On upgrading the add-on to an up to date version, it's recommended to upload the dd-on in order to maintain active the configured Approval Mail Handler.
Consider that on uninstalling and installing the add-on it's possible that configured Approval Mail Handler doesn't register so that approval via e-mail doesn't work.
If you encounter this problem you need to delete the existing Mail System configuration and re-create it as detailed on the Configuring JIRA application emails to notify and receive approvals guideline.
Uninstalling Herzum Approval add-on
1 | Choose the cog icon at top right of the screen, then choose add-ons and select Troubleshooting and Support Administration → Add-Ons → Herzum Approval → Troubleshooting and Support | Herzum Approval add-on panel |
2 | Select the Workflow Cleaning tab and click on Remove Approval Conditions. Ensure that any user edit the workflows during this operation in order to complete Approval Condition removal successfully. | Troubleshooting and Support screen |
