Plugin Overview

The Herzum Attachments Manager is an add-on for Atlassian JIRA that let you define, at level project, the maximum number of attachments per issue and also overwrite the default JIRA maximum attachment size per project (JIRA Attachment size).

This is a tutorial on how to add, edit and delete an attachment configuration for a project in JIRA.

 

Add a new Attachment Configuration

  1. click on the cog icon, then "Add-ons"
  2. click on "Configure Attachments" in the left hand menu
  3. You will land on the following page:
  4. Click on "Add new attachment limit"
  5. You will land on the following page:



  6. To create a new attachment choose a project from the drop down "Project Name" (NB: only projects without a configuration will be showed), fill the fields "Max Attachment Size", wit the desired max attachment size in bytes, and "Total Number of Attachments".

    If you defines -1 it means that there no limits 

    1. click on "Save"


Edit an existing Attachment Configuration

  1. From the main "Herzum Attachment Manager" Page click on the pencil icon near the configuration you want to edit:
  2. you will land on the following page:
  3. update values for Max Attachment Size" and "Total Number of Attachments" and click "Save" to update the configuration

Delete an Attachment Configuration

  1. From the main "Herzum Attachment Manager" Page click on the trash bin icon near the configuration you want to delete
