By default, a JIRA Project has an attachment size limit that is defined as per global instance configuration (https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/MgISCw). By using the Herzum Attachment Manager add-on, you can define a limit on the size and on the number of files let be attached to the issues in a specific JIRA Project.
To setup these limits, follow the steps below.
1 | Click on the cog icon, then "Add-ons" | Access the add-ons admin section |
2 | Click on "Configure Attachments" in the left hand menu | Access the HAM configuration panel |
3 | Click on "Add new attachment limit" | Add a new Attachment limit for a specific JIRA Project |
4 | To create a new attachment choose a project from the drop down "Project Name" (NB: only projects without a configuration are showed), fill the fields "Max Attachment Size", with the desired max attachment size in bytes, and "Total Number of Attachments". If you defines -1 it means that there no limits |
