By default, only the project lead, the JIRA Jira System administrators and users in project role Administrators are enabled to Configure Approvals for Single Issue. You can change the default privileges via the Permission Administration screen. |
How to setup approval steps for a single issue
- Navigate to the issue View screen
- Click Issue Approval to display the Configure Approvals for Single Issue screen
Select a workflow transition, drag and drop all desired Approvals from the Available Approvals to the Requested Approvals column
Setup the advanced settings that you need to apply by clicking on the arrow of the Advanced Settings button
Info A configuration for a single issue provides the same advanced setting options available for an Approval Mapping by Project and Issue Type.
The applied settings are persisted contextually. Click Save and Close to exit from the screen.
How to revert the approval configuration for a single issue to the Approval Mapping configurations by Project and Issue Type
The Configure Approvals for Single Issue screen let you able to revert the configuration applied on the single issue to the Approval Mapping configurations by Project and Issue Type.
When the issue uses a specific configuration, the Approval Configuration field reports the text Single Issue Approval and the button Revert Approval Mapping appears.
- Click Revert Approval Mapping to revert the applied configurations to the Approval Mappings configurations
Click Yes to confirm
Info When clicking Yes the Configure Approvals for Single Issue screen closes.
Info When reopening the Configure Approval for Single Issue screen , the Approval Configuration field reports the text Approval Mapping and the button Revert Approval Mapping doesn't appear anymore.
