I need to be able to automatically submit a work item for approval. Some users may forget to click the 'Notify Approvers' button and cause that precious time is lose. Furthermore, they may not realize that they need to submit the work item for approval sometimes.  


Preliminary Concepts

The 'Automatic Approval Request Notification' is a configurable option of the Herzum Approval add-onapp.  

In order to configure it, you need to enable the Automatic Request Approval Notification(ARN) associated to the specific transition as for the example showed below:.

This setting requires as prerequisite that you have enabled JIRA Jira Outgoing Mail and configured an SMTP Mail Server as per Atlassian guideline .
