The Select an existing issue select list allows to choose the issue to be linked.

Click the arrow on the first select list and , click on the issue or just type the issue key and click Image Added to link the selected issue.

The Select an existing issue linked by Issue Links is not available due to remote remote issue linking is allowed for Quick link type only.
