The Jira menu bar includes the Approval menu allowing any user to bulk approve issues pending his own approval. Additionally, the Approval Superusers can be enabled, via the Approval Global Configuration screen, to bulk approve issues instead of any user. |

How to Bulk Approve own required approvals
- Open the Approval menu on your Jira menu bar and click Bulk Approve.
The Bulk Approval window shows up.
The Bulk Approval window includes the following items:
- User, text box displaying the username of the logged user. The field is populated with the logged user username. The field cannot be updated.
- Comment, text box allowing to add the Approval Comment on all approved approvals
- Only notified requests, check box allowing to filter only the issues in myPendingNotifiedApproval()
- Additional filters, text box allowing to filter the issues returned by a JQL clause
- Comment, text box allowing to add the Approval Comment on all approved approvals
- Clicking on the Find issues button a message informs on issues satisfying the filter criteria.
- Clicking on the displayed number of issues, a window listing on the Jira search Navigator shows up.
- Click Approve in order to approve the issues satisfying the filter criteria massively.
How superusers can bulk approve issues

- Login as a Bulk Approval superusers and navigate the Approval menu on your Jira menu bar
- Select an user via the picker window in order to approve instead of him
- Click Find issues in order display the message informing on issues expecting selected user approbation
- Cick Approve in order to approve instead of the on behalf of the selected user.
