The JIRA menu bar includes the Approval menu allowing any user to bulk approve issues pending his own approval. Additionally, the Approval Superusers can be enabled, via the Approval Global Configuration screen, to bulk approve issues instead of any user. |

How to Bulk Approve own required approvals
Opening the Approval menu on your JIRA menu bar, it is possible to click on the Bulk Approve voice in APPROVAL BULK ACTION section.
When clicking on the Bulk Approve voice the following window shows up:
This window allows you to bulk approve issues pending user approval.
The Bulk Approval window includes the following items:
- User, text box , displaying the username of the logged user. The User is not updatable by any user, exception made for the Bulk Approver superusercannot be updated.
- Comment text box, allowing to add some information on all approved approvals
- Only notified requests check box, allowing to filter only the issues in myPendingNotifiedApproval()
- Additional filters text box, allowing to filter the issues by any valid JQL
Clicking on Find issues button the window runs issues search. A message inform on issues returned by applying the filter criteria.
Clicking on the displayed number of issues, the plug-in opens a new window listing on the JIRA search Navigator. The issues can be so massively approved.
